KOENIGSEGG GEMERA DS LIMITED

The Koenigsegg Gemera embodies the spirit of innovation and redefinition. It is the first four-seater car from the Swedish manufacturer, which the company classifies as a Mega-GT—a powerful grand tourer capable of producing over a megawatt of power. The Gemera's hybrid system is unique: the rear wheels are driven by two electric motors, while the front axle is powered by a multi-fuel three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine located behind the cabin. This approach resembles the Direct Drive system found in the Regera model, but with a different component layout.

The front axle features 295/30 ZR21 tires, and the rear axle has 317/30 ZR22 tires, standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, with the option of selecting sporty Cup R3 tires. The wheels are made from third-generation carbon fiber, with optional central locking nut. Carbon-ceramic brake discs (415 mm in front and 390 mm in the rear) are paired with six-piston and four-piston calipers with ceramic pistons.

The total power of the system impressively reaches 1723 horsepower and 3500 Nm of torque, and considering the wheel reducers, up to 11,000 Nm. The acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 1.9 seconds, while the maximum speed reaches 400 km/h. Additionally, the car can travel up to 50 km on electric power alone and 950 km on the internal combustion engine.

The Gemera is equipped with a three-cylinder engine known as the Tiny Friendly Giant (TFG), distinguished by its Freevalve valve control system. This solution allows for the adjustment of each valve's opening, optimizing engine performance under any load. Additionally, the engine features two turbochargers and can run on ethanol, methanol, biofuel, gasoline, and E85, maintaining efficiency and reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to modern turbocharged "fours".

The Koenigsegg Gemera is a four-seater hypercar that combines elegant design with extraordinary power. Its silhouette expresses dynamism and aggression, with clear lines that emphasize aerodynamics. Inside, the Gemera features luxurious finishes made from high-quality materials, modern technologies, and comfort for all four passengers.

The car's interior provides advanced amenities like individual multimedia systems for both rows of seats, a three-zone climate control system, an audio system with 11 speakers, Wi-Fi, wireless charging, and special cup holders with cooling and heating functions.

On the outside, the Gemera looks very stylish: it has a low profile, a wide front section with bright headlights, and sleek body shapes. The rear of the car is designed in a futuristic style, featuring distinctive design elements that give the vehicle a unique appeal.

The body structure utilizes a monocoque made of carbon fiber, which ensures a high level of rigidity. The exterior panels are also made of carbon fiber. The suspension is built on double wishbones with adjustable dampers, ride height, and wheel camber. The torque vectoring system operates on both axles, while the rear axle has a steering function, ensuring excellent maneuverability.

The design of the Gemera draws on the brand's heritage and references early Koenigsegg models, such as the CC prototype from 1996. This is not just a car, but a multifaceted achievement of engineering thought, limited to 300 units, reflecting the brand's versatility with a 26-year history.

The design of the front reduction gearbox includes two multi-plate wet clutches that distribute torque between the left and right sides, significantly improving handling. The rear electric motors are also equipped with separate wet clutches, allowing the rear axle to be deactivated to save fuel during steady cruising.

This engineering marvel from a company with a 26-year history will be released in limited quantities—only 300 units, making it a true rarity. The price has not been officially announced yet but is expected to be around 1.7 million euros, approximately equivalent to 125 million hryvnias.
